Women Leaders of PECO: Cassandra Burnham

Cassandra Burnham joined PECO in 1997 and, over the years, has experienced a wealth of opportunities to learn and grow. Currently serving as Associate Vice President of Communications, Cassandra began her career with PECO as an administrative assistant where she was able to learn the ropes of the business and eventually grow into the role of Acquisitions Analyst and then Finance Coordinator. In the early 2000’s, Cassandra moved into a work-from-home role as a Lease Abstractor.

Women Leaders of PECO: Tanya Brady

Tanya Brady joined PECO in 2013 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. She has served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel since 2015. With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and corporate transactions, Tanya oversees PECO’s full-service, in-house legal department with 24 team members focused on all areas of the company’s legal needs, ranging from corporate matters to securities, to transactions and leasing.

Our first Woman Leader of PECO for 2021 is Hannah Harper. Hannah joined PECO in March of 2018 as a Property Accountant working in the company’s fixed assets team on over 300 properties. While in that role, she was charged with the implementation of a new fixed asset software system which successfully enhanced the team’s reporting format, delivery and speed. In September of 2019 Hannah was promoted to Senior Property Accountant where she was once again instrumental in effecting a variety of process improvements. Hannah was promoted to Corporate Ac

Happy Latinx Heritage Month! This month is dedicated to celebrating the culture, history, and achievements Latinx people bring to the United States. A community of more than 60 million people[1], Latinx influence in the history of the United States is immeasurable. To know Latinx culture is to know vibrancy and liveliness. Latinx traditions are filled with vivid color, spirited music, and, of course, cuisine that is deeply rooted in history and flavor.

Not long ago I was interviewed by Chain Store Age on Phillips Edison’s approach to reopening and how we navigated the COVID-19 situation. During that conversation, I shared our success and touched on the programs we rolled out to help our neighbors reopen. Here’s an update on our results and some more detail on our strategy.

Women Leaders of PECO: Ziwei Yu

Senior Financial Systems Analyst Ziwei Yu has modeled the way for taking advantage of the growth and opportunity Phillips Edison’s award-winning culture offers its associates. Ziwei joined PECO in February 2013 as a Senior Property Accountant and was quickly promoted in late 2013 to Assistant Controller and in 2016 to Corporate Accounting Manager.

This month’s Woman Leader of PECO is Amber Roberts, Executive Assistant to our COO, Bob Myers and leader of our daily Cincinnati fitness classes. Amber joined Phillips Edison in 2013. Her poise, professionalism and incredible work ethic have led her to be involved in a variety of company initiatives, helping to promote the company’s culture and continuously enhancing our wellness programs.

The Joy of Cooking… With Instacart

The email jumped out at me, evoking a groan of frustration: “Potluck on Thursday. Bring a dish to share!” The problem? It was Sunday night. I’d already done my weekly shopping. We were wrapping up a busy weekend and preparing for an even more packed week. I was not driving thirty minutes back to the store to get potluck food and had no open times in my schedule for it even if I was so inclined.

This month’s Woman Leader of PECO is Rene Feder, Senior Regional Property Manager. Rene joined Phillips Edison in 2013 as a Regional Property Manager and was promoted to Senior Regional Property Manager in 2014.
