Joe Schlosser currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Joe joined Phillips Edison & Company in 2004 as a Financial Analyst and underwriter. In 2005 he became a Leasing Agent and was promoted to Director of Leasing in 2007. In 2010, Joe started and managed Phillips Edison’s Third-Party Management department and led a cross-functional team providing real estate services to external property owners. In 2012, he joined the Phillips Edison Grocery REIT as a Portfolio Manager and a member of PECO’s investment committee.
In the decade that followed, he grew the Portfolio Management department to coincide with the growth and improved quality profile of PECO’s portfolio of properties. In his current role of Chief Operating Officer, he continues to lead the cross-functional operating team and serves as a voting member on PECO’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Phillips Edison, Joe gained extensive experience providing construction management services on commercial projects including grocery-anchored shopping centers.
Joe is a founding member of the Cincinnati Golfers for Charity and is active with Crossroads Community Church and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
He earned a BS in Construction Management and an MBA with a concentration in real estate at the University of Cincinnati.
