in Leadership & Development and PECO Culture
Leadership NOW was announced at our company’s Annual Meeting in January. It will provide a unique opportunity to one female associate at Phillips Edison to lead an initiative with the support of our CEO, Jeff Edison. We believe it’s a significant step toward fulfilling PECO NOW’s mission of providing leadership opportunities to women at PECO.
After the Annual Meeting, we opened up the application process to PECO’s female associates. I am pleased to say that we received many outstanding applications. The high caliber of these applicants made for a difficult decision for the selection committee. We truly appreciated the time and effort these talented and motivated women put into the process.
The PECO NOW advisory committee is pleased to announce that Sarah Harmeling has been chosen as the first Leadership NOW program participant. An emerging leader with a passion for PECO’s business and culture, Sarah played an integral role in PECO’s recent merger transactions and is consistently looking for new opportunities to take her skills and the PECO team to the next level.
Sarah joined the company in 2013 and currently serves as Director of Portfolio Management for the North Region. Prior to taking on this role, Sarah held the positions of Senior Transaction Analyst and Transaction Associate. She is an active member of PECO NOW’s Advocacy and Awareness Committee, most recently co-organizing the roll-out of a new series of internal networking events. She also served on the Emerging Leader’s panel at our 2019 Annual Meeting.
We look forward to working with Sarah in the Leadership NOW program and are excited to see what she accomplishes next. Congratulations, Sarah!
