At PECO, our core values of Pride, Energy, Connection, and Opportunity shine through in every aspect of our organization. PECO Connect, one of our newest associate-led resource groups, is committed to fostering a positive and engaging work environment where fun and productivity go hand in hand. Recently, the group organized a rock-climbing activity led by our Senior Vice President of Leasing, Ron Meyers. This adventure brought our associates closer together as they tackled new challenges, both on and off the rock face. These outings are a chance to also live out our core values of Have Fun and Get It Done, Think Big Act Small and Always Keep Learning.
In addition to rock climbing, PECO Connect regularly organizes other events and activities designed to promote teamwork, creativity, and fun. These events include team-building exercises, brainstorming sessions, and social gatherings. Upcoming events include a cooking class, an escape room, as well as a charcuterie board design class.
PECO Connect aims to enhance collaboration and communication among associates. We believe that by working effectively as a team, our associates can achieve more than they could individually. PECO understands that when people enjoy what they do, they are more likely to be productive and successful. We also know that creating connections across teams facilitates communication and fosters interdepartmental collaboration, which is why we encourage our associates to take breaks, connect with others, and participate in activities they love. These connections are crucial for building strong relationships and ensuring long-term success in today's fast-paced business environment. So, whether associates are tackling new challenges on a rock face or brainstorming ideas in a conference room, we are looking forward to continuing to make “connections” with our PECO Connect activities.
