Phillips Edison & Company

Retreat, Relax, Rejuvenate at Blue Sky Ranch & RESORT

Blue Sky Ranch & Resort is a 3000-acre ranch being developed by Phillips Edison & Company as a conference center resort. Upon completion, the facility will accommodate up to 320 participants who will engage in concentrated training programs designed specifically to enhance the capabilities of all corporate associates. The Ranch will be home to PECO University but will also be available for other companies and groups who want to improve the management and technical skills of their workforce.

The Ranch will have a 24,000-square-foot Conference Center with amphitheatre, multiple break-out rooms, state-of-the-art media equipment, gourmet organic dining and more. In addition, a 3,600-square-foot relaxation and fitness center with yoga, pilates, massage and fitness counseling will include a 25-meter lap pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and circuit weight training equipment.

Guests will first enter the orientation building, where they will be assigned to groups for team building, trust exercises and communication work. Activities will include mountain biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, high and low ropes courses, rappelling, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, hiking and camping, as well as cooperative recreational activities such as alpine skiing at Park City, The Canyons, Deer Valley, Snowbasin, Snowbird, Alta, Brighton or Solitude. The ranch will be equipped with a heli-pad for private heli-ski adventures. Golf will be available at Tuhaye, Promontory or Park Meadows. And of course the ranch has world class fly fishing in the Provo or Weber Rivers.

The project is under construction now and is being developed according to the "green building" standards of LEED. Our intention is to develop an environmentally sustainable project that will be a workshop for "green" building practices. Energy will be provided through windmills, micro hydro plant, solar, photovoltaic and hydrogen fuel cells. Storm water and sanitary sewage treatment will be completely self-contained and recycled. The half-mile of stream running through the property will be restored, and the natural wetland vegetation will be revived. Building materials will be primarily recycled, and indigenous materials will be used. The facility will have particular value for the real estate industry as a "working model" for green building practices; constantly creating and evolving as our world changes.

Blue Sky Ranch & Resort is located 40 minutes east from the Salt Lake City International Airport via I-80 and 15 minutes from Park City. The ranch will be a private facility for companies who want to improve the productivity of their associates and have fun doing it.

Blue Sky Adventures is currently operating at the ranch, offering a variety of mountain recreation services, including yurt excursions, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and custom activities for large or small groups.
